removing a direct report to another manager
Hey there.... quick question. I am in the midst of reorganizing a department. As a result, one of the staff members that currently reports to me will be reporting to a director position (which also reports to me).
I assume the best way to delegate that staff member is to notify you and have you move their designation. Or I guess I delete that person from my registry altogether and then have them "recreated" inside the directors roster. But that approach would then lose the past QR data of the employee (when they reported to me).
Either way, I am sure you guys have encountered this many times. Just point me in the right direction.
